I’ve not yet had the pleasure of visiting Maison Style, but if there’s one thing I do know, it’s whatever owner and head stylist Andreé Marie touches turns to gold. Especially when it comes to hair.

Before opening the doors of her salon two years ago, Marie (as I call her) welcomed clients into her home. I remember the first time I booked an appointment with her: I was about to start a new job the next day, had just had a hair appointment cancelled, and desperately needed someone to inject that confidence that only a fresh hairstyle can bring. Marie accommodated. Despite the short notice. And from that day forward had me walking out her home feeling ‘one hundred’ each and every time. As was expected, she’s gone up in the world with her very own salon. I’ll let the expert tell you more:

“At Maison Style we love all things hair; whether it be coiffed, cut, coloured or styled we do it and we care,” Marie tells me. “We commit ourselves to understanding the science of hair regardless of if it’s natural or chemically treated. In the last two years we have found that our clients come to us for short cuts and natural hair care as we wanted to make sure we looked after both our natural and relaxed clients.“
